What is Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy?

“guided meditation with a goal.”

– By reducing negative emotions & thoughts,
it helps you to reach the goal you want to achieve.
If you are currently struggling with something you want to change but can’t, there is always a reason for that, and it is always in your past memories and experiences.
Hypnosis is a tool to access there, your unconscious.
Hypnotherapy helps you rewrite the beliefs your unconscious has decided to believe and remove the obstacles that prevent you from moving forward.
During hypnotherapy, you are awake, but often feel unconscious.
In most cases you will relax and feel comfortable. After hypnotherapy people feel refreshed and detoxed in mind and body. These are byproducts of hypnotherapy.
There are common misunderstandings about hypnosis.

On the contrary, you will feel like you take your own control back during and after the sessions.

Yes hypnosis can help you, belief in hypnosis is not required. All you need is the motivation to change. Don’t hesitate to ask us and talk to us about your concerns and skeptical views in order to lower your resistance.
Yes, you can be in hypnosis. In fact, we all enter into a hypnotic state at various times throughout the day when using our imagination for daydreaming or watching a movie. When you are watching a movie and totally absorbed into the story, you feel and think as if you were in the story. And it might change your perspective and maybe change your life in a good way. This happens with a good movie.
And a good hypnotherapy has quite a similar effect.
We can help you take the pain out of memory, by helping change your current perspective on the painful memory or distract from it. So the answer is no, we can’t delete your memory because we can not change nor control your mind. However, if the memories are painless, they will not hurt you, will not cause you distress.
In your hypnotic state, you are always in control and your mind is aware, alert and awake.
We, hypnotherapists have no magical power(and a malicious intention) to control you, change you, or force you to say things you don’t want to say; or make you do things against your will.
You only say what you want to say. And sometimes, you feel that now is the time to say.
After the session, you will feel much more self-controlled and empowered.
The number of sessions you need will depend on your condition, situation and the results you want.
